Burundian Appeals for Kagame intervention in her country

A Burundian lady, Nkurunziza Anne Marie has requested President Paul Kagame of Rwanda to intervene in her country’s political situation.

During the Rwanda Day event in The Netherlands on Saturday, the Burundian woman pleaded with Rwanda’s head of state hoping that he could do something to combat the toughened political situation in Burundi.

“I request you Mr. President, do not let Burundi perish just like that” lamented Ms. Nkurunziza

The distressed Nkurunziza Anne Marie reminded President Kagame that Rwanda’s stability is attributed to the principled leadership and wanted President Kagame to extend his support to the neighboring Burundi that has recently experienced a political adversity.

“You are the President of Rwanda and Burundi is suffering security instability, have you forsaken Burundi and left it to die away? Your Excellence, we beseech for your mercy. Please do not abandon Burundi for good; we send you to intervene” Anne Nkurunziza pleaded.

Meanwhile, other foreigners particularly South Sudanese and Ivorians were differently voicing up asking president Kagame to extend the abundant peace reigning in Rwanda to neighbors and other African countries in turmoil.

Another foreigner attending Rwanda Day from Ivory Coast asked President Kagame to apply his extensive knowledge in Unity and reconciliation to Ivory Coast, citing that Rwanda has quickly recovered from the Genocide against Tutsi 1994 whereas Ivory Coast has failed to bring back order and calm.

The Ivorian acknowledged Rwanda’s leadership efforts in the peace process across the globe and wondered: “You managed to stop Genocide, what advice can you offer to us who have failed to stop regular killings in our country?” He inquired.

President Kagame responded to all questions concerning lack of peace and political stability in the said countries saying; Rwanda has a pleasant diplomatic relations with those countries; such conflicts would therefore be discussed with the countries mentioned for common good or suitable solutions.
